KNOW THE FISHING TRADITION

As a traditional fishing town, Dénia’s FISH MARKET is a must-visit. Starting at 16:00, you can watch the small boats unload their fresh catch. You can also purchase freshly arrived seafood in the public sales area.

Retail Area Hours: Monday to Friday, from 17:00 to approximately 21:00 during the summer season.

TAKE A SOUVENIR

Next to the fishing port and across from the fishing quarter, you'll find the vibrant Spring-Summer Market, featuring stalls with jewelry, crafts, and gifts.

Opening Hours (Summer): Every day from 18:00 to 01:00.

If you're visiting with children, consider stopping by the Amusement Fair during the summer. Located on the northern breakwater of the port, just a few meters from the market, it offers fun and entertainment for the whole family.

CHILL OUT OR HAVE A FUN NIGHT OUT

Late nights in Dénia offer a variety of options for relaxation and entertainment. Whether you want to enjoy the sunset from a terrace or listen to music under the stars, there’s something for everyone. Here are some spots you shouldn’t miss:

• MARINA EL PORTET: Located on the north breakwater, this marina is both a leisure hub and dining destination. Here, you’ll find restaurants and music-filled terraces with fabulous views of the port and the castle.
• MARINA DE DÉNIA: Situated on the south breakwater, this marina is brimming with delightful restaurants and lively seaside terraces. The area also offers stunning panoramic views.
• LA MAR STREET: Home to the historic Morand warehouse, this building has been transformed into a collection of pubs with different styles, each featuring a patio and interior terrace.
• ELS MAGAZINOS: Accessible from Pont Street, this food and cultural space is steeped in history. Originally aristocratic stables in the 16th century, the building later became associated with the toy manufacturing and seafaring guilds. Now, it’s a vibrant venue for dining and cultural experiences; A Gastronomy Area.

SAY GOODBYE TO THE SUN

Don’t miss the magical sunset in Dénia. For the best views, head to the northern part of Les Marines Beach or the rocky coast of Les Rotes, where the sun sets behind the city’s silhouette. Alternatively, you can enjoy unique perspectives from the top of the castle or the port's breakwaters.

For a different experience, consider watching the sunset from the sea. Several companies offer boat trips that let you enjoy this enchanting moment from a maritime vantage point.
